Matt has been a health and life insurance agent since 2013. He began his insurance career while living in Oak Ridge, TN (just outside Knoxville). Many of Matt’s clients live in East TN, but he can help anyone anywhere in TN, and even in the states, he has non-resident licenses. He is also licensed in KY, AR, OH, SC, TX, OR & WA. Originally from Kelso, WA, Matt settled in TN after his 20 year Army career. He moved to Cookeville, TN, with his wife Janise, after 20 plus years in East TN, to be closer to kids and grandkids. Matt remains active with the Veterans of Foreign Wars, where he is currently serving as Quartermaster for Post 6296 in Cookeville and Trustee for the Putnam County Veterans Organization. Matt also enjoys giving back to the community as the monthly sponsor for the 2nd Friday bingo at the Cookeville Senior Center. You might also see Matt every Sunday at 11:00 at Life Church, where he serves as an usher.

As we approach September 26th, I’m excited to celebrate my 10th wedding anniversary! Alongside this milestone, I am a proud father of three daughters—a four-year-old and twin two-year-olds. My commitment to community service has always been important to me; I’ve served as the chairman for the Roane County Chamber Ambassadors, graduated from Leadership Roane in 2018, participated on the Advisory Committee for TCAT Harriman, and have been an active member of Rotary.
The motivation behind obtaining my insurance license stems from personal experience; my older brother passed away from cancer two years ago. This loss inspired me to help protect families from unexpected medical costs. At Matt Libby Insurance, I’ll be providing all the services we offer with a focus on ensuring peace of mind for every family we serve.

Born and raised in Franklin County, Bri relocated to Cookeville in 2014 to begin a new chapter in her life. In 2016, she met her significant other, and together they built a home on a picturesque hillside, sharing life with his two children and their beloved collection of animals.
Bri joined Matt Libby Insurance in 2022 as a receptionist, initially expecting to remain in that role. However, her career quickly evolved. In January 2023, she earned her Life and Health insurance license, followed shortly by her Medicare certification. Today, Bri is fully licensed and dedicated to helping clients find insurance solutions tailored to their unique needs.

Office Administrator
Born and raised in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, Amy relocated to Pall Mall with her husband of 34 years to manage a 100-acre family farm while he completed his RN degree. Together, they have raised four children and fostered for 14 years, providing care for medically fragile and terminally ill children—one of whom they adopted, completing their family.
Amy’s professional journey began as an Over-The-Counter Manager at a pharmacy before she pursued her career as a Licensed Massage Therapist (L.M.T.) for 20 years. In addition to her massage therapy work, she filled gaps by assistant teaching in Special Education (SPED).
Currently serving as the office administrator at Matt Libby Insurance, Amy is eager to expand her expertise in insurance. After Open Enrollment concludes, she plans to get certified in life, health, and Medicare insurance.
